Bravery with Adinkra Symbol Bracelet, by Dianne of DQ Designs

$40.00Price

Adinkra means "message" in the ancient language of the Akan people of Ghana and Cote' d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) in Africa. For centuries people have worn Adinkra messages on clothing to represent African proverbs, historic events, or life's lessons handed down from the elders. Now you too can choose your message and "Wear the Wisdom of the Elders" with Adinkra jewelry.

Embossed on this leather polymer clay cuff is the word "Bravery" with the following Adrinka symbols:

White, brown, and salmon bracelet - the zig zag lines representing the winding path life brings us with its many twists and turns.

Black - "Sankofa" which is symbolic of the African proverb, "look back to the past to learn for the future."

The bracelet has a magnetic clasp, is made from polymer clay which is lightweight and fits comfortably on your wrist. Pairs beautifully with Adrinka earrings.

Hand crafted by Dianne Quarles of DQ Designs.
